This page provides brief details for some of the software that I use.
I have listed programmes which may not be so familiar to some, rather than the well known, such as those from Adobe et al.
Most software companies will provide a free trial version and I always recommend using this to ensure the programme will meet your own requirements.
Some excellent inexpensive programmes can be found on the web, many offering free future upgrades.
NB. Any comments I offer are purely the personal view of a non technical user.
I don’t spend hours trawling or surfing the net, or whatever you call it. However I’ve listed a few sites that I’ve come across and which may be of Interest.
A variety of subject matter is covered in these sites. There are artistic, commercial, informative, personal and photographic sites. In fact, a real cornucopia.
Please forgive me if your site is not mentioned. There are so many excellent sites that it is impossible to list them all.
Each site though has its own links and following those can bring some intriguing ‘finds’.
These sections contain items which I have found useful, or interesting. New items may be added to the sections, and older items removed. So, if anything takes your interest, make a note as it may not be there next time you visit.

Having said that I must confess that some of the books which I have listed others have not found so appealing.
